houseblogs.net = inspiration

I wanted to say a special thank you to all the bloggers featured at houseblogs. You are all the source of our daily inspiration to start and (one day) finish new projects. I only recently found this site after searching through many DIY sites and perfect “show” homes almost never resembling real life. I was so inspired by the site to start our own blog, and I’ve been thrilled by the response of friends and family. It’s funny how reading about Teague and Mindy of Fixer- Upper's two hour drive to find the perfect doors for their kitchen reminded me of the great resources we have here in Rochester. We still haven’t visited Historic Houseparts but we plan to in the near future. We also have another salvage store called Rehouse if anyone is in the area. To anyone not familiar with houseblogs.net but loves reading about old houses and working on them, it is a great place to grow, learn, and be inspired.
